Trump Claims US Has Complete Control Over the Strait of Hormuz

President Donald Trump stated that the United States has complete control over the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway through which a significant portion of global oil exports passes.

Trump acknowledged that Iran retains a limited capacity to interfere with navigation in the strait but emphasized that overall US military dominance in the region was unchallenged.

The statement comes amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran following the breakdown of nuclear negotiations.
