Ukraine National Guard chief: Russia outnumbers 6-to-1 at some sectors

Ukraine's National Guard commander reported that in certain frontline sectors in Donbas, Russian forces outnumber Ukrainian positions by six to one.

Frontline situation

Despite the significant numerical disadvantage, Ukrainian defenders are holding their positions and inflicting heavy losses on the enemy.

This critical manpower disparity persists across several Donbas sectors, even as the overall defensive line holds.

Assessment

The statement underscores the urgent need for reinforcements and supplies for Ukrainian units on the front line.
