
A 13-year-old girl has tragically succumbed to her injuries in the hospital following a Russian drone strike on the Mykolaiv region, local authorities reported.
The fatal injuries were sustained on March 28 when debris from a downed drone fell on a public recreation area in the Voskresenske community of the Mykolaiv district. The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration confirmed the teenager's passing on the afternoon of March 29.
The falling drone debris caused significant casualties. Initially, it was reported that ten individuals were injured in the strike. The victims included two women, aged 18 and 40, alongside eight children—five girls and three boys between the ages of 10 and 16.
According to medical reports from the morning of March 29, the 40-year-old woman and two girls, aged 13 and 15, remained hospitalized in severe condition. Six other injured children were reported to be in moderate condition.
