  • Country: derived from the IP address using IP Geolocation by DB-IP (the country only — never a city or a precise location). The IP address itself is kept for 30 days and then erased; the country stays in the statistics.
  • Visitor cookie akm_vid: a random number with nothing about you in it. It lets us count how many people read the site in a week or a month and remember your first visit — where you first came from (site, page, link labels, time, country, language). It lives for 13 months. See Section 6.
  • Cookies: essential cookies for signing in and for preferences (theme, language). See Section 6.

  • We do not collect payment information.
  • We do not collect precise geolocation data.
  • We do not track you across third-party websites.

  • IP addresses: 30 days, then erased.
  • Page view records (without the IP address) and the first visit by the visitor cookie — kept for traffic statistics.

  • JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens.
