Champions League draw: Man City and Aston Villa to face holders PSG

European champions Paris St-Germain will face a formidable group of opponents in the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League league phase, including Premier League sides Manchester City and Aston Villa, as well as five-time winners Barcelona.

PSG's tough draw

The back-to-back Champions League winners will host Barcelona at Parc des Princes, travel to Villa Park and visit Manchester City's Etihad Stadium. It is a draw that underlines PSG's status as the team to beat heading into this season.

Arsenal host Real Madrid

Premier League champions Arsenal, who were beaten by PSG on penalties in last season's final, will host 15-time winners Real Madrid at the Emirates Stadium. Mikel Arteta's side will also travel to Bayern Munich and face Borussia Dortmund, Real Betis, Lille, Napoli, Sabah and Slavia Prague.

Other English clubs' fixtures

Manchester City will also face Barcelona, Sporting, Porto, Napoli, RB Leipzig, AEK Athens and Lens. Aston Villa, returning after a season away, will play Club Brugge, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Dortmund and Viking. Liverpool host Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan and travel to Porto and Villarreal. Manchester United face Bayern, Atletico, Roma, Sporting, Leipzig and Villarreal.

The league phase kicks off on Tuesday 8 September, with the final scheduled for 5 June 2027 at Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.
