1 min read

A court has remanded without the option of bail the suspect in the shooting at the Pechersk territorial recruitment center in Kyiv, in which six people were wounded, Kyiv police spokeswoman Anna Strashok told Ukrainska Pravda.

“Custody for 60 days, without the right to bail,” she said, adding that the court made the ruling on October 21.

On October 19, in the Pechersk district of the capital, a man detained for violating mobilization legislation opened fire inside the recruitment center. Three police officers and three servicemen were wounded. Law enforcers served a notice of suspicion on the 41-year-old man who carried out the shooting.
