During Russia's large-scale overnight drone assault on Ukraine, debris from a destroyed unmanned aerial vehicle fell in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, causing a fire, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported.

Emergency services arrived quickly and extinguished the blaze. No civilian casualties were recorded in connection with the debris impact.

The incident is part of the broader attack in which Russia launched 174 drones at Ukrainian targets overnight, according to Ukrainian Air Force reports. Ukrainian air defenses engaged the attack across multiple regions, with 141 targets reported destroyed.

Residents of Kyiv reported hearing a series of explosions during the early morning hours as air defense systems worked to intercept incoming drones. The Dniprovskyi district fire is one of several secondary fires across the country caused by falling drone debris during the assault.

Ukrainian authorities urged residents to stay in shelters during air raid alerts and not to approach or touch any debris found on the ground following such attacks.
