
The casualty toll from a Russian drone attack on the Mykolaiv region has risen to 10, with three victims currently fighting for their lives in critical condition. The strikes, which occurred over the weekend, targeted public and residential areas, leaving a trail of destruction and wounded civilians.
According to Sunday morning updates from Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration (OVA), the most severe incident took place in the Voskresenska community. Falling debris from intercepted unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) struck a public recreation area, causing multiple casualties.
"In the Voskresenska community of the Mykolaiv district, as a result of the attack and the falling of UAV debris on the territory of a public recreation area, ten people were injured – two women aged 40 and 18, five girls, and three boys aged 10 to 16. All the victims have been hospitalized," Kim stated.
Medical officials report that a 40-year-old woman and two teenage girls, aged 13 and 15, are in severe condition. Six other children sustained moderate injuries and continue to receive medical care.

In a separate incident in the Voznesensk district, enemy actions shattered the windows of an educational institution and damaged a power line, leaving one local settlement partially without electricity.
The weekend violence was not limited to Shahed drones. Regional authorities also documented targeted strikes using First-Person View (FPV) drones.
"Yesterday, the enemy attacked the Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities twice with FPV drones. A car and a power line were damaged," Kim added.
Prior reports from Saturday evening initially indicated that seven children and one adult had been wounded before the official casualty count was updated to ten on Sunday morning.
