EasyJet Flight Diverted After 10-Person Brawl Erupts Mid-Air

An easyJet flight from Tenerife to Liverpool was forced to turn back and land at Tenerife South Airport on Wednesday after a violent brawl involving up to 10 passengers erupted during the flight, air traffic control officials confirmed.

The aircraft, which was carrying dozens of passengers on a return holiday flight, declared an emergency and diverted back to its point of departure after the crew was unable to bring the situation under control. Spanish police and airport authorities met the plane on the ground.

What Happened On Board

According to passengers, the altercation began during the flight and quickly escalated into a mass brawl involving multiple individuals. Flight crew members attempted to de-escalate the situation but the violence continued. The captain took the decision to return to Tenerife, where the plane landed safely.

Holidaymakers who were not involved in the incident described scenes of chaos and fear on board. Several passengers reported being frightened for their safety as the violence unfolded in the cabin.
