First Victim of Kyiv Drone Attack Dies in Hospital

A victim of the early morning Russian drone attack on Kyiv has died in hospital from wounds sustained during the strike, emergency services and medical authorities confirmed.

The death is the first fatality confirmed as a direct result of the overnight drone barrage, which the Ukrainian Air Force said involved dozens of Shahed-type drones targeting residential districts of the city.

Medical personnel reported the victim sustained critical injuries from debris impact when a drone was intercepted by air defenses.
