GUR: Ukraine's Defense Forces Strike Oil Refinery in Kuban

Ukraine's Defense Forces struck the Slavyansk-EKO oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar Krai, on September 13, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense.

The strike was carried out by operators of the Department of Active Operations and the Department of Unmanned Systems of Military Intelligence, jointly with other Defense Forces units.

According to GUR, the key oil processing unit and the tank farm of the enterprise were hit. A massive fire erupted on the refinery grounds following the strike. Intelligence officials stated that the smoke and glow were visible for dozens of kilometers around.
