Warehouses Burning in Kyiv Region After Enemy Drone Attacks

Enemy drone attacks struck the Kyiv region on the evening of Saturday, September 12, setting warehouse facilities ablaze in the Boryspil district and causing damage in the Brovary district, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported. Rescuers were dispatched to the scene to fight the fires.

Damage Across Two Districts

In the Boryspil district, warehouses were set on fire following the strikes. In the Brovary district, a storage building and a private residential house were damaged. Authorities confirmed that firefighters were actively working to extinguish the blazes as of Saturday evening.

The strikes are part of a massive drone offensive that Russia launched against Ukrainian regions throughout September 12. Ukrainian air forces reported that Russia fired a total of 410 attack UAVs during the day, of which 336 were neutralized by air defenses, while 21 struck their targets across multiple regions.

Broader Attack Context

The Kyiv region has been targeted repeatedly as part of Russia's ongoing campaign to destroy Ukraine's civilian and logistics infrastructure. Drone attacks have been intensifying over recent weeks, with multiple regions reporting simultaneous strikes. As of the evening, the Air Force noted approximately 55 enemy UAVs were still active over Ukrainian territory with new groups entering the airspace.

Authorities urged residents to follow air alert instructions and seek shelter.
