Lithuania dismisses Kremlin nuclear threats as intimidation tactics

Lithuania has rejected the Kremlin's nuclear threats, characterizing them as deliberate intimidation tactics rather than genuine military signals. Lithuanian officials emphasized that such threats will not alter the country's unwavering support for Ukraine or change its security policy.

Lithuania, a NATO member bordering Russia's close ally Belarus, has consistently been among the strongest European voices against Russia's aggression. Officials noted that Russia's nuclear blackmail is designed to fracture Western unity and discourage continued support for Ukraine, and called on NATO allies to remain steadfast despite such threats.
