Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga condemned Russia's strike on a sunflower oil production plant in Dnipro belonging to the American agro-industrial giant Bunge, calling it part of a systematic terror campaign against American businesses and economic interests in Ukraine.
This is not an accident, but part of a systematic campaign of terror that Moscow is waging against American enterprises and economic interests. This happened just a few weeks after an attack on another American-owned company in Sumy region, Sybiga wrote on X.
The strike on the Bunge plant killed at least two people and caused serious damage. The plant was attacked twice on September 10 alone.
Sybiga noted that such strikes highlight the urgent need to strengthen Ukraine's air defenses and increase pressure on the Russian regime to cease the war and engage in constructive diplomatic talks.
