NABU Director: Karfagen Case Investigation Faces Fierce Resistance

NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau) Director Semen Krivonos addressed the ongoing investigation into the Karfagen case on September 14, acknowledging that the probe is facing significant pushback.

“The pre-trial investigation continues. The resistance to this criminal proceeding is fierce,” Krivonos stated.

The Karfagen case is an anti-corruption investigation that appears to be at the center of the political tension culminating in President Zelensky's decision to suspend Prosecutor General Andriy Kravchenko on the same day.

Krivonos dismissed materials apparently published or leaked by Kravchenko, calling them “nonsense and Telegram suspicions.” He declined to comment further on the publications circulating online.
