NAZK to Review Ex-Prosecutor General Kravchenko's Lifestyle After Dubai Villa Probe

1 min read

The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NAZK) has begun monitoring the lifestyle of former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko after an investigation found that his mother-in-law invested about $670,000 in a villa in Dubai in 2023. This follows Radio Liberty and NAZK's response to a request from the Anticorruption Headquarters NGO.

“The information (from the journalistic investigation — ed.) will be taken into account during the monitoring of the lifestyle of former Prosecutor General Kravchenko R.A.,” the agency said.

What the investigation found

Journalists established that on July 20, 2023, Alina Shkrobanets, mother of Kravchenko's then-wife Olena Shkrobanets, invested about $670,000 in building a villa of more than 143 square meters in the Damac Lagoons cottage community in Dubai. At that time Kravchenko headed the Kyiv regional military administration.

Earlier, investigative reporters found that after the divorce the property passed to a new owner, who had been seen in the company of Kravchenko's former mother-in-law.
