On March 31, the front lines in Ukraine witnessed severe military escalations, with the General Staff of the Armed Forces reporting a total of 151 combat engagements throughout the day. According to the evening briefing released at 22:00, the Pokrovsk direction remains the most heavily contested area, accounting for exactly 51 of the day's battles.

Heavy Aerial and Artillery Bombardment

Russian forces have continued to rely heavily on aerial superiority and unmanned systems. The General Staff detailed the massive scale of the daily bombardment, stating: "The enemy launched 45 airstrikes – dropped 145 guided aerial bombs. In addition, engaged 5,927 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 2,611 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops."

Frontline Breakdown

The intensity of the assaults varied across different axes, with Ukrainian defenders repelling waves of attacks in multiple regions:

• Pokrovsk Direction: The primary hotspot of the day, where troops recorded 51 enemy attacks.
• Kostiantynivka Direction: Russian occupying forces launched 19 assaults against Ukrainian positions.
• Huliaipole Direction: A notable escalation was observed here, with 15 attacks recorded.
• Oleksandrivka and Lyman Directions: The aggressor executed seven attacks in the Oleksandrivka sector and six assaults in the Lyman area.
• Sloviansk and Southern Slobozhanske Directions: Each sector saw three attempts by the enemy to advance.
• Kupiansk and Kramatorsk Directions: The enemy attacked once near Nova Kruhliakivka in the Kupiansk sector, and made one attempt to improve its tactical position in the Kramatorsk area.
• Prydniprovske Direction: Russian forces conducted a single assault action directed toward Bilohrudyi Island.

Furthermore, cross-border and regional shelling remains intense. In the Northern Slobozhanske and Kursk directions, Russian forces executed 70 artillery strikes targeting Ukrainian positions.
