Poland Arrests Two Turkish Nationals Suspected of Starlink Station Arson
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the arrest of two Turkish nationals suspected of committing the arson attack on a Starlink satellite internet ground station in the village of Wola-Krobowska, Masovia, which occurred on the evening of September 23.
How the Arrests Were Made
Tusk announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the suspects were detained by German police at Poland's request. \“At the request of Polish services, German police have detained two Turkish citizens suspected of arson at the Starlink station in Masovia. This is another act of hybrid warfare. Those responsible for the sabotage will face Polish justice,\” he stated.
Hybrid Warfare Context
Polish prosecutors opened an investigation into the fire as a suspected act of sabotage. The Starlink network provides critical communications for Ukraine's military and civilian population. Polish authorities have identified the attack as part of a broader pattern of hybrid warfare operations targeting NATO infrastructure in Europe.
