Tusk Warns Poland Expects Russia to Target Its Ukraine Border Crossings

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference in Slovakia that Poland expects Russia to target its border crossings with Ukraine, following a pattern of Russian attacks on border infrastructure.

Tusk stated: "We expect similar actions targeting border crossings with Ukraine in other countries, including Poland." He was commenting on Russia's attacks on international border crossings, describing them as provocations.

The prime minister also disclosed that he had received "a fairly precise report directly from the CIA" about possible events in the coming months. He said the report aligns with what he had been warning about for months, regarding the situation not only on the Russian-Ukrainian front but along the entire eastern flank of the EU.

Russia had already struck border infrastructure in Moldova and temporarily shut down the Orlivka crossing on the Romanian border after a September 6 attack.
