German Police Surround Ukraine Consulate in Düsseldorf Over Unclear Threat

German news agency DPA reported on a large-scale police operation at Ukraine's consulate general in Düsseldorf on September 10, triggered by an unclear threat.

A local police spokeswoman confirmed an unclear threat at the Ukrainian consulate general, adding that a significant operation was being conducted near the building without initially providing further details on what had occurred.

The Ukrainian diplomatic mission was cordoned off across a large perimeter in the city center. Police blocked a section of street and deployed multiple police vehicles to the scene.
