Reality TV Star Stephen Bear Jailed for Breaching Restraining Order

Reality TV personality Stephen Bear has been returned to prison after admitting a harassment charge relating to social media posts he made about Georgia Harrison, in direct violation of a restraining order that was already in place against him.

Bear, who previously served a prison sentence for sharing intimate footage of Harrison without her consent, was found to have breached the terms of the order through a series of online posts.

Georgia Harrison, also a former reality TV star, had previously welcomed Bear's initial conviction as a landmark case in the fight against image-based abuse. The new breach and subsequent jailing has once again brought attention to the issue of online harassment.

The court found Bear guilty of the harassment charge and sentenced him to a return to custody. Victims' rights advocates have called for tougher enforcement of restraining orders and stronger legal protections for those targeted by online abuse.
