Russia Loses 1,710 Troops and 96 Artillery Systems in Single Day — Ukraine General Staff

Ukraine's General Staff reported on September 26 that the country's defense forces neutralized 1,710 Russian troops on the previous day. The daily toll pushed cumulative Russian personnel losses past 1,527,280 since the full-scale invasion began on February 24, 2022.

According to the General Staff's updated tally for the period February 24, 2022 through September 26, 2026, Russian forces have also lost: 12,376 tanks (+7), 25,435 armored vehicles (+20), 50,371 artillery systems (+96), 2,160 multiple-rocket-launch systems (+3), 1,673 air-defense systems (+4), 2,748 ground robotic systems (+12), 534,020 operational-tactical UAVs (+1,445), 153,728 vehicles and fuel trucks (+576), and 4,749 pieces of special equipment (+8).
