Russia Drone Strike on Kyiv Hits Gas Station and Warehouses

Russia carried out a drone strike on Kyiv during the night of September 15, hitting critical infrastructure in two city districts, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) and Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Damage and Casualties

In the Darnytsia district, an enemy drone struck a gas station. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene. One person sustained injuries as a result of the hostile attack in that district.

A second impact was recorded in the Obolon district, where warehouse facilities were hit. Authorities said services were also responding to that location.

Air Alerts and Threat

The attack followed an earlier air-raid warning in Kyiv tied to a drone threat. The Air Force had alerted residents that jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicles were approaching the capital. Residents were urged to seek the nearest shelter immediately.

The KCMA declared a yellow danger level during the alert, and later reported the all-clear after the immediate threat subsided.
