Russia strikes Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv with drone, one killed

A Russian drone attacked the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv on the evening of 11 September, killing one man and wounding two others, the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov reported.

Syniehubov said the enemy struck the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. Initial reports indicated one casualty; he later confirmed the death of a 32-year-old man.

Two other people were also injured in the strike. Emergency services were deployed to the scene.

Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, has been subjected to sustained Russian drone and missile attacks throughout the war. The city is located approximately 40 kilometres from the Russian border.
