Russian Airstrike Hits Sloviansk: 12-Year-Old Girl Among Three Wounded

A devastating Russian airstrike on the eastern Ukrainian city of Sloviansk in the Donetsk region has left at least three civilians injured, including a 12-year-old girl. Local authorities report significant damage to residential areas following the bombardment.

Aerial Bombs Target Residential Sector

According to preliminary reports, Russian forces deployed two 250-kilogram high-explosive aerial bombs on the city. The munitions struck a private residential neighborhood, causing widespread destruction.

Vadym Liakh, the head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, confirmed the details of the attack via Facebook. He stated that the strike resulted in the following damage:

• At least 22 private homes sustained structural damage.
• Three civilian vehicles were severely damaged.

Casualties and Medical Response

As of the morning following the attack, official figures confirm three civilian casualties. Among those wounded is a 12-year-old girl. Liakh assured the public that all injured individuals have been provided with the necessary medical assistance.
