Russian Drone Hits Apartment Block in Sumy, Starting a Fire

A Russian drone hit an apartment building in the Zarichnyi district of Sumy overnight on Oct. 20, causing a fire, acting mayor Artem Kobzar said on social media.

"Today at around 2:00 a hit by an enemy drone on an apartment building in our city's Zarichnyi district was recorded. The strike caused a fire. All relevant services are on site," Kobzar wrote.

He said information about the consequences of the hit was being clarified. No casualty figures had been reported at the time of the publication.
