Russian Drone Nearly Strikes Zelensky's Aircraft During Flight

A Russian drone narrowly missed the aircraft carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a flight, Ukrainian officials confirmed Tuesday, calling it a deliberate assassination attempt by Russia.

Details of the incident remain limited for security reasons, but officials said the drone came within a dangerously close distance of the presidential aircraft before being detected and neutralized. The exact location and timing of the near-miss were not disclosed.

Presidential Security Service representatives confirmed that Zelensky was on board and that the incident was being treated as a targeted attack on the Ukrainian head of state.
