According to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) caused widespread damage in the city's commercial and residential heart. The assault resulted in:

War Crime Investigation Launched

In response to the strike, Ukrainian authorities have swiftly initiated legal proceedings. The prosecutor's office stated verbatim: "On March 31, at about 18:00, the Russian military struck the center of Nikopol using a UAV." Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a formal criminal investigation has been opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which addresses violations of the laws and customs of war.
