On March 31, Russian forces launched a drone assault targeting the infrastructure of the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, resulting in at least one casualty.
According to Oleksandr Vilkul, the Head of the Defense Council of Kryvyi Rih, the strike was carried out using jet-powered Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles. The attack sparked a fire and prompted immediate emergency protocols.
"The enemy attacked the city's infrastructure with jet-powered Shaheds," Vilkul stated. "We have started emergency rescue operations and firefighting. As of now, one 22-year-old guy is injured, lightly."
Authorities are continuing to assess the full extent of the damage as first responders work to secure the affected area.
