Russian drone strike kills 74-year-old woman in Kherson region

A 74-year-old woman was killed in a Russian drone strike that hit a residential area in the Kherson region of Ukraine on September 15, regional authorities reported. The attack targeted a civilian area in the region, which has been under continuous Russian drone and artillery bombardment since Ukrainian forces recaptured the city of Kherson in November 2022. Russian forces continue to shell the area from positions on the opposite bank of the Dnipro River.
