Russian Drone Strikes Kherson Hospital Grounds, Damages Vehicles

Russian forces carried out a drone attack on a hospital in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson on the afternoon of September 18, 2026. The head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, reported the strike.

Attack Details

According to Shanko, the attack occurred after 14:00 local time when Russian troops dropped explosives from an unmanned aerial vehicle onto the hospital grounds. Several service vehicles were damaged in the strike. No reports of injuries or deaths were received.

Context of Repeated Attacks

The hospital strike is the latest in a series of Russian attacks targeting Kherson's civilian infrastructure. On September 16, one person was killed and another wounded in separate drone attacks in the city. Kherson, partially occupied since late 2022, continues to face near-daily Russian bombardment from across the Dnipro River.
