Russian Drone Strikes Medical Facility in Kharkiv, Two Wounded
Russian forces struck two districts of Kharkiv on October 10, targeting Kholodnohirskyi and Slobidskyi areas of Ukraine's second-largest city, Kharkiv Regional Military Administration chief Oleh Syniehubov and city mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed.
In the Slobidskyi district, a Russian drone struck a medical facility building, causing a fire. Initially one person was reported injured, but a second victim was later identified. Both received medical assistance.
The Kholodnohirskyi district also came under attack, with authorities assessing damage to infrastructure. The repeated targeting of civilian infrastructure, including healthcare facilities, has been documented as a pattern of Russian attacks on Kharkiv throughout the war.
