In the early hours of March 29, Russian forces launched a renewed assault on the Odesa region, specifically targeting critical energy infrastructure. The Odesa Regional Military Administration reported that the overnight strikes have led to widespread electricity disruptions across several settlements.
According to official reports, the attack successfully damaged a local energy facility. The assault was not limited to industrial targets; residential areas also suffered the impact of the drone barrage. One unmanned aerial vehicle struck a private home, causing partial destruction to its facade, while additional damage was recorded within a local dacha cooperative.
The State Emergency Service (DSNS) confirmed further destruction in the broader Odesa district. The resulting fires engulfed two garages and completely destroyed a passenger vehicle. Fortunately, authorities have reported no casualties or injuries at this time.
This latest wave of aggression follows reports from the previous evening, which indicated that Russian occupation forces had initiated a sustained drone offensive against Odesa and its surrounding areas. Repair crews are currently assessing the damage to restore power to the affected communities.
