A massive Russian drone attack struck Konotop in Ukraine's Sumy region overnight on September 18, damaging social and critical infrastructure across the city. Konotop Mayor Artem Semedikhin reported the strikes.
Among the damaged facilities: a kindergarten, School No. 11, medical institutions, and numerous private homes. The railway line also sustained damage, and the gas distribution network was knocked out, leaving a significant portion of the city without gas supply. Two women sustained injuries in the attack.
