Russian forces struck the Amstor shopping center in Zaporizhzhia on the evening of September 17, triggering a large fire, regional officials reported.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast head Mykhailo Semikin stated: “The enemy struck the shopping center. This evening the enemy’s targets in Zaporizhzhia are civilian businesses, bus stops and the buses themselves, shopping centers. A fire has broken out.”
Earlier the same day, 8 people were injured when Russian forces attacked a passenger bus in Zaporizhzhia. Russian troops have been systematically targeting civilian infrastructure in the city throughout the year.
