Russian Forces Strike Critical Infrastructure Facility in Chernihiv

The Chernihiv City Council confirmed the incident, releasing a statement at 23:20 local time. "The enemy has struck a critical infrastructure facility in the city of Chernihiv. The information is being clarified," the press service reported, as officials continue to assess the situation and gather further details.

Prior Drone Warnings

Shortly before the strike, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had detected and reported the presence of hostile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to military updates, these enemy drones were actively operating across the northern and central sectors of the Chernihiv region.
