Russian Major General Anton Grunis, commander of the 4th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, has been killed in the war against Ukraine, Russian media reported. His death reportedly came shortly after he delivered a briefing to President Vladimir Putin on alleged advances by his unit.
