Russian Strike Destroys Olena Zelenska Foundation Warehouse in Kyiv

On the morning of September 16, a Russian drone attack completely burned down a warehouse of the Olena Zelenska Foundation in Kyiv. The foundation confirmed the loss but said no personnel were injured in the strike.

What Was Lost

According to the foundation's statement on Facebook, the warehouse held humanitarian aid that was purchased or received from partner organizations for distribution to children, families, and institutions across various regions of Ukraine. Among the destroyed items were generators, household appliances, laptops, tablets, e-readers, and medical equipment — all earmarked for schools, hospitals, and vulnerable families.

Foundation's Statement

The foundation wrote: "This morning, as a result of a Russian attack, our warehouse in Kyiv was completely destroyed. It burned to the ground. Most importantly, no one was hurt. We thank the State Emergency Service units that worked on site for their promptness and professionalism."

Broader Attack

The same night, Russian drones struck warehouses of the Kvartal 95 television studio in Kyiv. The attacks are part of a sustained Russian campaign targeting civilian infrastructure in the Ukrainian capital.
