Ukraine-Poland Border Checkpoint Shehyny-Medika to Close for Buses from September 20

The Shehyny-Medika checkpoint on the Ukraine-Poland border will close for bus traffic starting September 20, 2026, due to repair works on the Polish side. The closure is expected to last until approximately November 2027.

Regular bus routes passing through Shehyny-Medika can register in the eChergy system to use alternative checkpoints:

• Smilnytsia-Krostsenko
• Nyzhankovychi-Malkovytse
• Krakivets-Korchova

Passenger car and truck traffic at Shehyny-Medika will continue to operate normally. Only bus service is affected by the closure.
