Sumy Attack Toll Rises to 9 Wounded; Drone Drop Kills One in Bilopil Hromada

The number of people injured in the Russian attack on Sumy on the evening of September 18 rose to 9, the National Police of Ukraine reported. Two children — a 7-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl — are among the wounded. Two people died in the Sumy hromada as a result of a guided aerial bomb hit on an apartment building: a 51-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman. Eight apartment blocks, two educational institutions, and over 20 vehicles were damaged. Additionally, in the Bilopil hromada, one person was killed and one was wounded by a drone bomb drop. Russia attacked 26 settlements in Sumy region during that period with rockets, guided aerial bombs, artillery, mortars, and strike drones.
