Russia Drops KAB Bombs on Sumy Homes: 11 Hurt Including 3 Children

On September 10, Russian troops dropped two KAB guided bombs on a residential area on the outskirts of Sumy, injuring 11 people including three children. A Russian drone also struck the Manufaktura shopping center for a second time, which had been closed after a deadly attack the previous evening.

Casualties

Sumy Regional Military Administration head Oleh Hryhorov confirmed the injuries: eight people were hurt initially, among them two girls aged 8 and 17. Later a 14-year-old boy also sought treatment, raising the total to 11 injured, three of them children. All children and four adults were taken to hospital.

Second Drone Strike on Manufaktura Mall

Acting Sumy city head Artem Kobzar said a reactive UAV struck the shopping center building that had already been shut for restoration following the previous day's attack. No new casualties were reported from this second strike, though fires broke out that emergency teams worked to contain.
