Two employees of the Sumy City Council executive committee were killed in the Russian attack on the residential building in Sumy, Deputy Mayor Ryma Bykova announced. "Among those whose lives were taken by this attack are two of our colleagues from the Executive Committee of the Sumy City Council — Alla Korniyenko and Roman Trepalin. Wonderful, kind people and highly skilled professionals," she said. Roman Trepalin worked as head of the competitive procurement department. Alla Korniyenko served as head of the legal department. Russia struck Sumy on the evening of September 18 with guided aerial bombs hitting a multi-story residential building. Two people were killed and eight were injured, including two children.
