Ukraine air defense neutralizes 254 of 285 Russian drones in one day

Ukraine's Air Forces reported that between 06:30 and 18:30 on September 30, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 285 strike UAVs, including 174 jet-propelled drones of the Gerber type and other models. Air defense systems shot down or suppressed 254 of them, including 146 jet-propelled drones.

Other weapons used

In addition to drones, Russia struck on the eastern front using a ballistic missile and several Banderol/Dan-T guided weapons. The data was described as preliminary and subject to further clarification. At 18:30, approximately 10 strike UAVs remained in Ukrainian airspace.

Power outages

Parts of Ukraine experienced emergency electricity outages as a result of numerous Russian attacks on energy infrastructure throughout the day.
