Ukraine's emergency service prepares 1,100 resilience points with tents and generators for winter

1 min read

Ukraine's State Emergency Service (DSNS) announced it has prepared more than 1,100 resilience points — centers where civilians can warm up, charge devices, and access essential services during power outages — ahead of the winter season. Each point is equipped with tents, 'Bohun' portable heating units, and generators.

The resilience network has been expanded since Russia began targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure in late 2022. The DSNS said it is also ready to deploy additional mobile units and equipment to affected areas if needed, including in communities recently struck by Russian attacks.
