Russia conducted 62 air strikes and dropped 190 guided aerial bombs during the day. In addition, Russian forces deployed 5,898 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,532 artillery and mortar barrages targeting Ukrainian positions and civilian settlements.
Activity by sector
The breakdown by direction shows fighting spread across the entire front line. On the Pivdenno-Slobozhansk axis Russia attacked Ukrainian positions nine times; on the Kupiansk axis — once; Lyman — four times; Kramatorsk — twice; Kostiantynivka — 13 times; Pokrovsk — 23 times, the hottest sector; Huliapol — 11 times; and Orikhiv — once.
