Ukraine General Staff: 184 Combat Engagements Overnight, 23 on Pokrovsk Direction

Ukraine's General Staff reported that Russian forces launched 184 combat engagements over the course of the past day, with 23 attacks recorded on the Pokrovsk direction, one of the most heavily contested sectors of the frontline. Ukrainian defenders repelled the majority of attacks, with fighting ongoing in several areas. The Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk region has been a focal point of Russian offensive efforts for months, with Moscow seeking to capture logistically important positions. Ukrainian forces conducted defensive operations and artillery countermeasures throughout the engagement period. The General Staff noted that aviation, artillery, and drone assets were used by both sides across multiple sectors of the front.
