Ukrainian and Polish Experts Exhume Remains of 89 Soldiers Killed in Lviv in 1939

A joint team of Ukrainian and Polish specialists has exhumed the remains of 89 soldiers who fell near Lviv during fighting in 1939 from the old Holoskyivske cemetery. The work is part of a broader bilateral programme to locate, identify and repatriate the remains of soldiers from both nations who lost their lives during the Second World War period.
