Ukraine Reports Over 1,800 New Russian Casualties in One Day

1 min read

Ukraine's General Staff reported 1,880 Russian military personnel killed or wounded in the past 24 hours, according to the latest daily battlefield update. The cumulative estimated losses since Russia launched its full-scale invasion in February 2022 now stand at approximately 1,559,230.

The figures include all categories of combat losses: infantry killed and wounded, destroyed armored vehicles, artillery systems, and aviation assets. Ukraine emphasizes that the numbers represent estimates based on battlefield intelligence and may be subject to revision.

Russian forces continued to press offensive operations across multiple fronts, with the heaviest fighting reported around the Pokrovsk direction. Despite suffering consistently high daily casualties, Russia has maintained its offensive pressure through a combination of mass infantry assaults and aerial bombardment.
