Ukraine Says It Hit Russian Command Post, Repair Unit and Depots

1 min read

Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a Russian command post, a repair unit, depots and troop concentration areas in the Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk regions on October 19 and overnight into October 20, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

The General Staff said a command post of a Russian unit was hit near Fedorivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and a Russian army repair unit near Kalmiuske in Donetsk Oblast. In its words, "destroying such facilities makes it harder for the enemy to restore damaged equipment and return it to the front."

Depots and troop concentrations

Ukrainian forces also hit logistics and supply depots near Kripenskyi in Luhansk Oblast, Rivnopil in Donetsk Oblast and Lahidne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

In addition, strikes were carried out on places where Russian personnel were gathered near Rybalivka, Basan, Fedorivka and Mykolaivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Zelenyi Hai, Horlivka and Selydove in Donetsk Oblast; and Svatove in Luhansk Oblast. The claims come from the General Staff and have not been independently verified. See more in our World section.
