Ukraine Transfers Two North Korean POWs to South Korea

President Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine has transferred two captured North Korean soldiers to South Korea, marking a significant diplomatic development.

Russia's Foreign Fighters

Zelenskyy noted that Russia is employing fighters from 47 different countries in its military operations against Ukraine. The use of North Korean troops — deployed in Russian-occupied territories — has been an international concern since reports emerged in late 2024.

The transfer to Seoul strengthens South Korea's intelligence picture regarding its northern neighbor's military cooperation with Moscow.
